Description
The signature model guitar of Souichiro Yamauchi, guitarist/vocalist of Fujifabric, has arrived!

Throughout his career with Fujifabric, Soichiro Yamauchi has cherished a 1962 Fiesta Red Stratocaster, and in 2015, a custom-made Stratocaster was created for him by Jason Smith, a master builder at the Fender Custom Shop. Now, a signature model based on this iconic instrument of Soichiro Yamauchi's is being manufactured and sold in Japan.

After more than a year of trial and error, including the designer personally visiting the factory to convey his requests, a satisfactory prototype was finally completed before the summer of 2016. The result is a Stratocaster that is affordable yet boasts attractive looks and sound.
What immediately catches the eye is the vibrant red color, taken from the artist's actual instrument. USA-made plastic parts contribute to a vintage look. Equipped with custom shop Fat '50s pickups and USA-made electronics, it achieves a sound quality far exceeding expectations for its price range. The Fujifabric logo engraved on the neck plate is proof that both the look and sound were fully supervised by Soichiro Yamauchi.

This guitar is in player's condition, with some minor dents and scratches, tarnishing on the parts, and some wear on the paintwork due to use. The frets have about 70% of their height remaining, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electronics, so you can continue to use it extensively. This is a rare find on the used market, so if you've been looking for one, please consider it soon.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
