A Gibson ES-175, a representative archtop guitar, has arrived in recommended player's condition as a used item! It was manufactured in 1995.
This guitar boasts a beautiful figured maple grain and a natural finish that gives it a striking presence!

The Gibson ES-175, a representative archtop guitar with a 16-1/4 inch full acoustic body made of maple, debuted in 1949 (the dual-pickup version appeared in 1951). While the single-pickup version ceased production in 1971, the dual-pickup ES-175D surprisingly remained in production as a standard full acoustic guitar, chosen for a wide range of genres. Unfortunately, in recent years, production has ceased due to the closure of the Memphis factory and a restructuring of the product lineup.

This 1995 model is a recommended used guitar in player's condition. It features two '57 Classic pickups, giving it the so-called ES-175D style. The '57 Classic is a pickup that Gibson developed in the 1990s to emulate the PAF sound, and it remains highly popular today, with musicians praising its ease of use! It was used in many Gibson hollow-body models, including the ES-335, from the 1990s to the 2010s! You can enjoy the traditional semi-acoustic sound with rich sound pressure and harmonic richness!
The controls are a standard 3-way pickup selector, 2 volume controls, and 2 tone controls.

The total weight is approximately 3.19 kg. The body is made of Gibson's traditional laminated maple full acoustic construction. The beautiful figured maple grain and natural color create a striking presence! A Schaller locking pin has been added near the neck joint. (The locking pin receiver is not included.)

The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood. It has an easy-to-grip C-shaped neck profile.
There is a slight forward bow and treble-bouncing tendency on the 6th string side of the neck, but the frets have been leveled and the tops of the frets are aligned. Approximately 75% of the frets remain. There are no issues with playability at present. The guitar is currently set up with D'Addario ECG25 flatwound strings.

The ES-175 boasts the rich hollow tone and lustrous, sweet bass characteristic of Gibson archtop models, along with clear, crisp treble tones. It's perfect for jazz, but its responsiveness and projection make it suitable for rock, blues, and many other genres.

This time, we have a recommended player's condition used item in stock! It was manufactured in 1995.
While there are numerous scratches, pick scratches, dents, pick scratches on the pickguard, scratches near the bridge, dents near the neck end, buckle scratches, a dent near the 8th fret on the back of the neck (1st string side), and some tarnishing on the parts, we have performed maintenance and cleaning on this guitar, so it is ready to use immediately! None of these affect playability or functionality. Although there are many scratches and dents, this guitar has plenty of character! It will be an immediate asset to your collection.
A Schaller locking pin has been added near the neck joint. (The receiving end of the locking pin is not included.)

As mentioned earlier, the neck section shows a slight forward bow and treble flex towards the 6th string, but the frets have been leveled and are now even. There are no issues with current use. The frets have approximately 75% remaining. The nut is also in good condition. The truss rod can be adjusted normally without any problems. Currently, the guitar is set up with D'Addario ECG25 flatwound strings. The 3rd, 5th, and 6th string tuners have been replaced. They are Kluson tuners with the same Gibson Deluxe engraving, but the knob color is slightly different. There are no issues with their function or operation. (The replaced tuners are not included.)

The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there are no problems with its operation.
