We have received a 1955 Les Paul Standard, the much talked about new Tak signature model, in excellent condition through our proxy sales agency!

The Epiphone Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standard is based on the Gibson Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standard released by Gibson Custom in 2022 and is part of Epiphone's premium series, Inspired by Gibson Custom. It features a beautiful all-gold finish, including the back of the neck, a maple top, a "Tak Matsumoto" custom neck profile that's slightly thinner than the 1959 neck, a laurel fingerboard, and a deep neck joint, similar to the high-end models. The headstock features a slightly lowered mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo, just like the 1955 model, and a Gibson-style "open book" headstock shape. The bridge is a Gibson Historic wraparound bridge with intonation adjustment screws, and the strap pins are equipped with a ProRockGear strap lock set. The electrical system features the same Gibson Burstbucker PRO Alnico 5 pickups as those used in Gibson Custom guitars, as well as 50s-style wiring including a Vintage Taper CTS potentiometer, Grey Tiger capacitors, a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch, and an output jack.

While there are a few minor scratches and some dullness on the parts, the overall condition is excellent with minimal signs of use. There is no noticeable wear on the frets, and there are no issues with playability, including around the neck or in the electrical system, making this a guitar you can enjoy for years to come. This guitar offers excellent value for money, authentic looks, and sound, so don't miss out on this opportunity!
