Description
Paul Reed Smith has gained immense popularity in the music scene in recent years.
We have received a shipment of CE 24s, manufactured in 2017 and featuring a bolt-on construction!

Since its introduction in 1988, the CE series has evolved along a different lineage than the mahogany set-neck models. After disappearing from the catalog lineup in 2008, there were many calls for its revival, but due to cost issues, it was never produced except for a few limited models.

The CE 24, unveiled at Winter NAMM 2016, follows the design of previous CE series models while offering even better value for money. It features a maple top with a slightly shallower arch compared to models like the Custom, combined with a classic mahogany back. The bolt-on maple neck, finished with satin nitrocellulose, produces a sound with a strong attack.
The fretboard, made of East Indian rosewood, features PRS's trademark bird inlays.

The pickups are the 85/15, which were installed in the 30th Anniversary Model. These pickups, bearing the years of the company's founding (1985) and 30th anniversary (2015), differ slightly in character from vintage-toned pickups such as the 57/08 and 59/09. Developed with a modern classic character in mind, these pickups offer a rich sound with a wide range from high to low end and a punchy, moderately powerful feel.

Despite its attractive specifications as described above, this guitar offers excellent cost performance by using the same parts as the S2 series, such as the tuning pegs and bridge, and by including a gig bag as the case.

Unlike the Custom model, the CE features a maple neck and a bolt-on joint construction. It's often mistaken for a cheaper version of PRS, but its quality and production process are just as superb as the higher-end models. Of course, it's true that production costs are reduced by using a case and parts, but the CE has a sharper, more responsive sound compared to the Custom.

In terms of condition, there are slight paint chips on the body top edge, some minor dents and scratches, tarnishing on the parts, and blackening on the headstock edge due to the guitar hanger. However, the frets have about 80% of their height remaining, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electronics, so this is a guitar you can enjoy for many years to come. The CE boasts a unique tone with an attack that is different from that of a Custom, thanks to its bolt-on construction, so don't miss this opportunity!

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
