Description

Founded in 1833, Martin is a long-established manufacturer of acoustic instruments that is still loved today.
The brand began making ukuleles in the 1910s and is the oldest ukulele manufacturer with a history of nearly 100 years.

This instrument, "Style 0," is the model that sparked the Hawaiian boom of the 1920s.
This is the same model number that began production in 1916, but based on the specifications of each part, this instrument is believed to be a model manufactured in the 1920s.
With bar frets, a wooden nut, and wooden tuning machines, it's a must-have for vintage enthusiasts.

The body is constructed from all solid mahogany, producing a warm yet crisp tone.
Since it has been many years since it was manufactured, it is a vintage item that has a solid, dry sound and volume.

As for the condition, there are dents and scratches all over the item, and some wood chips in some places, giving it an appearance appropriate for its age.
There are signs of repaired cracks on the top and back, but they are firmly glued together so there are no major issues with the quality at present.
The bridge is tilted slightly forward due to tension, but the top is in relatively flat condition.

Upon arrival, the guitar is adjusted at our affiliated workshop, with overall maintenance, repair of cracks on the top, and deburring of the frets, so you can use it with confidence as an instrument!
The value of vintage items is increasing every year, so don't miss this opportunity!
