KoAloha is one of the two major ukulele brands in Hawaii and is a leader in the ukulele brand world!
The Koaloha "Pikake" series is a Hawaiian-made instrument with a satin finish for a cost-effective look. "Pikake" means "white jasmine flower" in Hawaiian. True to its name, this instrument offers a simple yet elegant sound.
The body is made entirely of solid Hawaiian koa, with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, reliable gear pegs, and a koa plate inside the body. The matte finish gives it a crisp sound and scratch resistance. The body size is tenor, popular for solo playing. The low-G specification balances the deep bass notes of a guitar with the treble notes characteristic of Koaloha, making it an instrument that can be played comfortably across a wide range.
This model has many intricate details, even amongst simple ukuleles, including the head shape, triangular sound hole, and abalone inlay on the head.
