Description
BLACK DRAGON is a bass string that combines the long life of Dragon Skin+ with the bold black look of Black Beauties. Our proprietary Accurate Core Technology (ACT) creates fine grooves in the core wire, firmly supporting the winding, maintaining a clear core and definition all the way down to the lowest registers, even on a 37-inch scale. It combines high output and a full, rich tone that's noticeable at first strum, with comfortable playability even over extended playing sessions. It's perfect for multi-scale players who want to bring out the true potential of the B string.


High-output, full-bodied sound with a pronounced low end, thick mids, and clear attack for each note. It won't get lost in a band ensemble, and responds well to EQ and compression.

Tension design for ease of play: The carefully tuned tension balance provides a stress-free playing feel whether you play with your fingers or a pick, allowing you to maintain concentration even during long rehearsals or on stage.

Multi-scale precision structure
ACT improves winding tightness and phase matching, maintaining definition all the way down to the bass strings. Furthermore, the B, E, and A strings are tapered, bringing out the full potential of the B string with a scale length equivalent to up to 37 inches.

*Please note: This product has tapered B, E, and A strings. Compatibility may vary depending on the bridge and saddle shape. Please be sure to check the compatibility and scale length of your instrument before use.
When replacing strings, do not bend the tapered or wound sections at a sharp angle. Ensure that the strings are long enough to wrap around the post, and cut them using the appropriate procedure.
After playing, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to remove sweat and dirt, which will help extend its lifespan.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
