The D'Addario XS Series is a product that brings a breath of fresh air to the coated string category.
All wound strings are coated with an ultra-thin film, and plain strings are treated with a unique polymer coating to protect the strings from dirt and substances that promote deterioration.
The latest coating technology combined with D'Addario's unique manufacturing techniques has resulted in the creation of an unprecedented, revolutionary coated string.
-Ultra-thin coating: Uses an ultra-thin ePTFE film that is less than one-tenth the thickness of a human hair, created using a dramatically advanced new coating technology.
It thoroughly protects the wound strings from dirt and dust, ensuring a fresh tone that lasts for a long time.

D'Addario's proprietary NY Steel (a high-carbon steel alloy), which is also well-known for its NYXL and XT series strings, boasts overwhelming strength and tuning stability compared to conventional strings.
・FUSION TWIST
Fusion Twist processing prevents tuning errors caused by loose strings.
This results in excellent tuning stability and improved breakage resistance.
