Description
Description
This premium-quality, innovatively crafted, cruise-maniacal sound is popular with pros and amateurs alike! This component-driven guitar boasts exceptional playability, and we've got a pre-owned Bottom's Up in recommended player condition! This 2023 model features an alder body with SSH trim for on-the-job ease and a striking vintage white finish.
The history of Cruise Custom Guitars began with components.
The Bottom's UP is a long-selling model that has supported many players for many years and has constantly evolved. Various versions are released every year, and it has become a standard loved by many musicians to meet the needs of the times.
This Bottom's Up features a full-size (standard ST size) alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Since there is no spec sheet, this is just an estimate, but the neck size is approximately 42mm wide at the nut. The fingerboard has a moderately flat radius and medium-sized frets. The C-shaped profile provides a comfortable grip and excellent playability.
There is no spec sheet for the pickups, so I can only guess based on the back. The front and center pickups are marked CMS, so they are original Cruise pickups. There is no mention of the bridge pickup, but I'm guessing they're also original Cruise pickups. These pickups output a well-balanced, easy-to-use sound and tone. The humbucker does not automatically tap when the bridge and middle pickups are half-tone. Many Bottom's Up SSH models seem to tap the humbucker when the bridge and middle pickups are half-tone, so judging from the solder marks, it's possible that the humbucker has been removed or rewired, but the current sound is excellent! (Incidentally, many James Tyler SSH assemblies also do not automatically tap the humbucker when the bridge and middle pickups are half-tone.)
The tuning machines are Gotoh SG-360 MG-T locking tuning machines. By placing the center of gravity in the head, the neck produces a tighter, more aggressive sound. The trim lock style allows for smooth string changes and maintains the same tension balance regardless of the number of string wraps.
The bridge is the GOTOH 510T-FE1. Its two-point anchor design ensures stable operation and easy setup, making it a standard design highly acclaimed worldwide. Furthermore, the GOTOH original FST tremolo block eliminates friction between the strings and plate, minimizing pitch drift during arm movements.
The careful craftsmanship of each part, which is unique to domestically produced products, makes it extremely easy to play, making it a high-grade masterpiece that can be immediately put to use in a variety of genres!
This time, we have a recommended player's condition pre-owned item in stock! It was made in 2023.
There are scratches, nicks, scratches and dents on the body, paint burns, numerous small dents in the paint that were there before, scratches on the buckle, dirt on the back of the headstock, and dullness on the metal parts, but it's a guitar with character! Although there are many scratches, dents, and signs of use, it has been fully maintained at our shop, so it's ready to play right away. None of these issues affect playability.
The frets have been filed and are ready to use. Approximately 80% of the frets remain. There are no problems with the nut. The truss rod can be adjusted normally without any problems.
The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.
It weighs approximately 3.41 kg, a balance that makes it easy to use yet produces a solid sound.
This guitar features an alder body with SSH specifications that make it easy to use on the job site, and a vintage white color that stands out!
The only accessory included is a KACES gig bag (not the original case).
The arm is also missing.
Don't miss this opportunity!
