Description

The Stratocaster is Fender's signature model, beloved by guitarists around the world since its release in 1954. When it comes to electric guitars, this is the shape that comes to mind for many people.

This time, we have a large headstock, ash body, and plated serial number, shipped around 1974. It has the popular blonde color and maple fingerboard combination.

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 4.3 kg. The beautiful ash wood grain is highlighted with a translucent blonde finish. The subtle patina of aging creates a lovely atmosphere. While the instrument is relatively clean, it still retains the vintage feel of a vintage instrument. The octave adjustment screws on the bridge saddles show signs of wear, but are still functional and not stuck. The armbar mounting holes have widened with use, and are now compatible with metric armbars. The pickguard has been replaced with a new one of the same type. The back panel is missing.

【neck】
The neck and fingerboard are made of one-piece maple. There are dents and paint chips from the neck to the headstock, but the condition is in good condition, just like the body. The tuners are slightly bent on the Fender F key and 3rd string knobs, and there is some variation in the overall winding tightness, but they still function properly. The nut has been replaced and the frets have been filed and adjusted, so playability is excellent. The headstock thickness is 15.1mm. The nut width is 40.3mm. This neck shape is relatively thin for a Stratocaster.

[Electrical system]
The controls are classic Stratocaster-style: 3-way pickup selector, master volume, neck (front) position tone knob, and center position tone knob. The volume and center position tone knobs have been replaced. All other controls, including the staggered pole piece pickups, are in perfect condition. The response is excellent, with the crisp contours and rich, full tone characteristic of an ash body.
