Description

Recommended second-hand item!
We have a recommended pre-owned Fender Custom Shop 1961 Stratocaster Relic in stock! Made in 2019.
This guitar features an ash body, quarter-sawn maple, and a 3A-grade rosewood fingerboard! The 9.5R-12R compound-radius fingerboard with medium jumbo frets provides excellent playability. The beautiful ash grain and Faded 3-Tone Sunburst color are a perfect match! The relic finish evokes the image of a veteran warrior, making this a truly exceptional piece!

The Fender Custom Shop was established in 1987 to create the highest quality Fender guitars using carefully selected wood from Fender's inventory, utilizing time-honored handcrafting and advanced manufacturing techniques. This section inherits the traditions and techniques of the long-established Fender company, and the lineup, assembled by a limited number of staff and featuring one-of-a-kind models like the Master Builder Series, is truly top-notch. Many of the tools used in the production are the same ones used back then. The instruments, crafted with the meticulous attention to detail by staff members who are deeply versed in Fender guitar know-how, boast the finest quality and sound to satisfy any player, becoming reliable companions that will last a lifetime.

This latest arrival features a body made of carefully selected ash, a neck made of straight-grained quarter-sawn maple, and a large C-shaped neck that provides a firm grip and produces a fat sound.
The fingerboard radius is 9.5R-12R compound. The fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets make this a guitar with excellent playability and modern performance!

The crisp sustain of the ash/rosewood creates a versatile sound that is well-balanced for both vintage and modern sounds!

The pickups are hand-wired Custom Shop Hand Wound FAT 60s single coils in the neck and middle positions, and a hand-wired Custom Shop Hand Wound Texas Special in the bridge position. While three of the same pickup model tend to result in a thin bridge pickup, these pickups were selected for tonal balance.

No matter which position you use to create your sound, you'll get a great tone in all positions. The thickness of the bridge pickup alone allows for such versatile sound creation that it's hard to believe it's so well-balanced. Furthermore, the center pickup is RWRP (reverse-wound, reverse-polarity) so noise is reduced when playing mixed tones, thanks to the same hum-canceling effect as a humbucking pickup.

The controls are Vintage Modified #2 wiring with master volume with high-pass capacitor, neck and middle tone, and bridge tone.

The body color is a striking Faded 3-Tone Sunburst! While 2-Tone Sunburst is typically associated with ash body burst colors, the Faded 3-Tone Sunburst color, combined with the beautiful grain of the ash, creates a guitar that exudes sexiness and style!

This is a recommended used item in stock! It was made in 2019.
Since it is a relic, it is not possible to fully see any scratches that may have been made later, but there appears to be little overall wear, and it is a highly recommended guitar with no issues with current playability!
We have fully maintained and cleaned this product, so it is ready to use right away.

The neck had a tendency to have a slight high bounce, so we filed it down and aligned the tops of the frets. There are no problems with using it as it is. There are about 85% left. The nut is also in good condition for normal use. The truss rod is set a little deep, but there are no problems with normal adjustments at present.

The weight is approximately 3.60 kg.

The original brown Tolex hard case is not included.
Includes an SKB-type hard case with the Crews Maniac Sound logo and a key.
Other items included are a certificate, spec sheet, arm, and bridge cover.

Don't miss this opportunity!
