Description
Description
American Vintage II is a series of incredibly accurate reproductions of groundbreaking electric guitars and basses that changed the history of music. Featuring period-correct body shapes, necks, hardware configurations, premium finishes, and meticulously crafted pickups voiced specifically for the era, each instrument embodies the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.
When the Stratocaster, with its distinctive, sensual curves, sparkling sound, and revolutionary tremolo bridge, first appeared in 1954, it astounded the world with its unprecedented novelty. After undergoing various updates, by 1957 it had evolved into the perfected model that would become one of the most iconic guitars of the century.
The American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster features three Pure Vintage '57 Stratocaster pickups and a V-shaped neck with a smooth body contour and a 7.25-inch-radius maple fingerboard, recreating the tone and feel of the original 1957 model. Other premium features include a Pure Vintage Synchronized Tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block and bent-steel saddles, Fender Deluxe tuning machines, and a 1-ply pickguard.
Developed to celebrate Fender's iconic guitar shape, the American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster features an alder body and is available in two nitrocellulose lacquer finishes: 2-Color Sunburst and Sea Foam Green.
American Vintage II is a series for players who love the tone and feel of vintage Fender instruments, faithfully recreating the guitars and basses that laid the foundation for Fender. These guitars and basses have shaped music history, brought back to life with modern technology.
The condition of this guitar is in player's condition, with many dents and scratches, mainly on the body, some tarnish on parts, chipped paint, and some paint peeling on the fingerboard edges. The frets remain at about 70% of their original height, and there are no issues with playability, including around the neck and electronics, making this a guitar you can continue to use relentlessly. This eye-catching guitar in gorgeous seafoam green is a must-have!
