Description
Description
The Stratocaster, Fender's signature model, has been loved by guitarists worldwide since its release in 1954. This latest arrival is a spaghetti logo/clay dot Stratocaster, with a serial number dating back to 1964, but all parts dated to 1963. It's also a collector's item, complete with the original tag, strap, and bridge cover.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.3 kg. The body is made of alder. Its three-tone sunburst color, featuring a vibrant gradation of yellow, red, and black, is beautiful. While there is some weather checking, dents, pick scratches, paint chipping from a belt buckle, and tarnish on the metal parts, it is in fairly good condition considering its age. While the pickguard shows some shrinkage due to age, there are no visible cracks and it retains its bluish mint color. Several of the bridge saddle height adjustment screws have been replaced, and one tremolo spring has been replaced.
【neck】
The neck is made of maple. The fingerboard is made of excellent rosewood with rounded edges. Although there are some dents on the back of the neck and some tarnish on the metal parts, there is almost no paint peeling on the back of the neck, and like the body, it is in very good condition. The decal logo on the headstock is still in good condition. The tuners have some inconsistency in winding, but they function well. The frets and nut show only slight wear, and playability is good. The headstock is 15.2mm thick. The nut width is 42.4mm. Many people are looking for a neck shape with a thicker headstock and a wider, thicker neck, even though it is labeled as a "B" neck.
[Electrical system]
The controls are classic Stratocaster-style: 3-way pickup selector, master volume, neck (front) position tone, and center position tone. The pickups are original black bobbins, and the controls are in perfect condition. You'll be amazed by the incredible sound, which combines a sense of speed backed by a stunning natural resonance with a rich, wide range of tone. Here you'll find the vintage Stratocaster sound that countless guitarists covet.
