Description
Description
Takamine, a long-established Japanese acoustic brand, is often used by musicians overseas and has now become one of the most well-known brands worldwide. Its electric acoustic guitar models in particular are a great fit for band ensembles, and are used by many famous rock musicians.
This model is from Takamine's ukulele series, and is an electric ukulele made using the guitar-making know-how that has been cultivated over half a century.
The body is crafted entirely from solid Hawaiian Koa, with moderate figuring for a refined look, and the neck is made of mahogany with an ebony fingerboard. This is a classic wood combination for a ukulele, but the zero fret design, bridge design, and binding, among other things, really convey Takamine's signature style and guitar expertise. The same headstock shape as the guitar will be a welcome addition for fans, providing a sense of familiarity and security.
The pickup is equipped with Takamine's proprietary system, powered by a button battery, and the dedicated bridge pickup outputs the warm sound unique to Hawaiian Koa without compromising it.
There are few picking scratches and the overall condition is good, there are plenty of frets remaining and the neck is in good condition.
This is a recommended item for those looking for a great value, domestically produced core model in excellent condition.
