Introducing the Master Works snare drum, the pinnacle of Pearl drums!
As Ikebe Musical Instruments celebrates its 50th anniversary,
We offered a special drum set to Pearl Musical Instruments, our long-time partner and a leading manufacturer of drums in Japan.
See this original, pinnacle of cutting-edge technology and craftsmanship, arrived at through repeated exchanges!
The basic shell used is Maple/Gum, an evenly thick 6-ply material that is highly regarded by Pearl.
The outer ply is made of carbon fiber and then topped off with a gold swirl finish.
A hybrid finish is achieved that combines geometric patterns with random nuances created by handwork.
The inside of the shell is laminated with Pearl Drums' classic fiberglass, achieving a standard yet innovative sound.
From the past to the present...a historic instrument that symbolizes the friendship between Ikebe Musical Instruments and Pearl Drums.
It is no exaggeration to say that we have now achieved the ultimate form of snare drum.
And when it comes to Pearl snare drums, they feature a free-floating system!
The latest specification of Pearl's original system that maximizes sound characteristics by not drilling any holes in the shell!
The parts are black, giving it a bold look.
