Made in Japan! We have a used Yamaha Maple Custom snare drum in stock! It's in excellent condition and features late-model lugs!

[Maple Custom]
The unique airbag shell construction produces rich, clear bass, and the small lugs enhance the sound even further.
In terms of appearance, we have prepared a variety of colors, mainly see-through, that make the most of the beautiful grain of the maple wood.
The sound produced by maple, the finest material for acoustic instruments, is warm, sustained, and has a solid response, resulting in a high-quality sound.
This Maple Custom is versatile enough to be used in any musical genre or style, and is a confident model that embodies the pinnacle of Yamaha system drum technology.

[All maple shell]
The Maple Custom captivates drummers around the world across genres with its warm, rich sustain.
Carefully selected North American maple wood is molded into a slightly thick 7-ply shell.
It has a unique shell structure that successfully achieves both response and volume.
By making the most of the characteristics of maple wood, increasing the proportion of plies with vertical grain and laminating two plies in succession, we have achieved good sound transmission and response, as well as improved low-frequency resonance.
Furthermore, Yamaha's unique airbag system uses the power of high-pressure air to create a highly accurate, perfectly round shell.
This achieves pure, consistent sound quality.

[Color Finish]
In addition to the lacquer finish, which is well-known for its beautiful finish, we also offer a vintage finish using a special synthetic resin coating.
The vintage finish in particular is a painting technique unique to Yamaha that brings out the quality of the material while maturing into a deeper color over time.

[Small Rug]
The Yamaha Lug is a type that secures the tuning bolts by tightening them. It is springless, so noise is shut out. The Maple Custom uses small lugs with a gold finish. The contact surface with the shell is minimized.
This is a later model lug that does not float.

[Aluminum alloy die-cast hoop]
A lightweight die-cast metal hoop that produces a quick and crisp sound.
The die-cast guitar features a clear rim shot sound and cut overtones.
Furthermore, its high rigidity is sufficient to withstand high-pitch tuning, allowing you to create unique sounds.
