It was founded in 1991 by David and Susan Lo, who live in Taiwan.
David worked as a product manager at Pearl Drums Taiwan for 18 years, but sadly passed away in 2000. His wife, Susan, took over his role as director, a position she holds to this day.

Taiwan is a country that currently possesses the technical and production capabilities that are inseparable from drum manufacturers around the world.
Making full use of the technology and experience it has cultivated over many years in Taiwan, World Max continues to bring low-priced, high-quality products to the world.

This snare drum features the piercing attack and open sound that only a steel shell can provide.
The 1mm thick shell is extremely easy to play, and its excellent response means that the entire snare resonates even with a light tap, making it an appealing choice.
With specifications such as 10 tensions, 2.3mm pressed hoops, and tubular lugs, the sound is bright, open, and thick.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
