Description

Phantom power compatible microphone/guitar interface for iPad/iPhone/iPod touch.

Easily record guitars and microphones anywhere.
iXZ is a microphone/guitar interface for iPad/iPhone/iPod touch with phantom power support and an XLR/TS input. Simply connect iXZ to the earphone/microphone jack on your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch to enjoy easy recording anywhere. The full-fledged XLR/TS input allows high-quality audio input to your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch. The jack is a combo jack, allowing direct connection of a guitar cable. The XLR/TS combo jack allows you to connect not only electric guitars but also handheld microphones with XLR jacks, allowing you to input vocals or acoustic guitars via a microphone. The microphone input level can be adjusted with the built-in INPUT volume. It also supports phantom power, allowing you to connect a full-fledged condenser microphone. From simple dynamic microphones for practice to condenser microphones for sound production, iXZ is equipped with a stereo mini jack on the back of the unit for output from your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch. You can connect headphones or speakers with built-in amplifiers. The volume can be adjusted with the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch's volume control.

■ Microphone/guitar input for recording with a handheld microphone that has an XLR terminal
The input terminal supports high-impedance input, allowing you to directly connect a guitar. It also features an XLR/TS combo jack, allowing you to connect a microphone with an XLR connector and input vocals or instruments into your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch. By connecting a microphone and using a karaoke or mixing app that supports microphone input, you can practice your vocals while playing back audio from your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch.

■ Phantom power supply is possible, so you can connect a full-fledged condenser microphone
In addition to standard dynamic microphones, you can also connect condenser microphones, which are often used for professional recording. By connecting a condenser microphone to an acoustic guitar and using a recording app, you can record professional-quality songs on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. You can capture your song ideas on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch in high-quality sound, anytime, anywhere.

■ Stereo mini output terminal for connecting headphones and amplifier-integrated speakers
Output from the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch is via the built-in stereo mini jack. You can connect not only earphones and headphones, but also powered speakers with built-in amplifiers, such as the TASCAM VL-M3. The volume can be adjusted using the volume control on the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch itself.

■ Ideal for various microphone input compatible apps (guitar effects/recording apps, etc.)
It's perfect for a variety of mic-input compatible apps available on the App Store. Simply launch a guitar effects app and connect your guitar to use it as an effect pedal to generate a driven guitar sound, or use it with a recording app for mobile recording. The possibilities are expanding with the ever-increasing number of apps.

Compatible with iPads, iPhones, and iPod touches with 4-pole headphone/microphone input jacks. Equipped with a microphone preamp for microphone input. Operates without batteries when using guitar input (requires two AA batteries when using XLR microphone input).
- Microphone input volume can be adjusted with the INPUT volume. - Stereo mini jack for headphones/external output.
