Description
Description
This time we have the "SA-30T" in stock, a popular hollowbody model that appears to have been manufactured around 1966 based on the serial number.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.0 kg. It has a thin body, but a hollow body construction without a center block. The body is made of maple, and the color is Alga Green, a popular choice among models. There are scratches and dents scattered throughout, as well as dull metal parts and some collapse due to deterioration of the binding. One control knob has been replaced, and the entire bridge has been replaced. Other items missing include the arm bar, tremolo spring support, and one truss rod cover screw.
【neck】
Like the body, the neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard and a set neck. The 0 fret is another feature of early SA models. The back of the neck shows small and large scratches, dents, and paint chipping, with a deep dent near the 16th fret accompanied by paint chipping. The tuners are original open-gear tuners, and although there is some inconsistency in winding, they function well. The frets and nut are showing signs of wear, with dents on the low frets, including the 0 fret, but there is currently no significant buzz or clogging. The nut width is approximately 42.0mm. The neck shape is characterized by a modest thickness and a sturdy width.
[Electrical system]
The controls have been significantly modified, with the original 2 volume/1 tone or 1 volume/1 tone/balance control now being replaced with a 1 volume/1 tone/3-way pickup selector switch, and one of the tone controls is now unwired and a dummy. The selector switch, hard-wired volume and tone pots, output jack, and wiring have all been replaced.
