This is part of the Cannonball Big Bell Stone series, which features 16 semi-precious stones mined deep from the earth adorning keys, necks, and key guards.
The entire instrument, including the keys, is black nickel plated, and a satin finish is applied to add a unique luster and depth to the sound.
The instrument itself is a beautiful work of art.
The breathability is extremely good, and the powerful sound that extends towards the bass is emitted from the big bell like a cannon!
Two necks are included: a "fat neck" with a unique downward-facing tone hole design, and a "standard neck" with standard specifications.
Unlike so-called "online-only shops," Wind Bros. is one of Japan's largest saxophone specialty stores, with a physical store in Shibuya. Even if you order through the Ikebe Musical Instruments website, the product will be inspected by staff at the physical store before shipping, so the service and quality will be the same as for customers who visit the store.
