Description
Description
The MPX8 is a compact and convenient sample player that lets you load audio samples stored on a standard SD card (sold separately) and assign them to eight backlit pads for playback. It's ideal for studio and live performances, as well as for creating sound effects for theater productions and streaming videos.
● Control external MIDI devices
The MPX8 is equipped with standard MIDI input and output terminals, so you can connect it to an external MIDI device using the included "1/8" - MIDI conversion cable. You can play sounds from an external MIDI sound source by hitting the MPX8's pads, or you can play the MPX8's sound samples from an external MIDI controller.
●Easy to edit
The included MPX8 Sample Kit Editor (available for download) allows you to easily set parameters such as tuning, reverb, trigger type, level, pan, and MIDI note number on your computer before loading audio samples into the MPX8 itself, and convert them to a format compatible with the MPX8.
Loop library included
The MPX8 comes with 21 built-in sound samples, including vintage drum machine sounds, sound effects, and bass sounds, and you can also download a free loop library from the AKAI Professional website. This compact, easy-to-use sample player lets you use these sound samples and your own original samples in a variety of genres and situations.
