Description
★Noise suppression tape made from PULSHUT (high-performance nonwoven fabric) developed by Asahi Kasei Corporation.
This revolutionary noise suppression material uses no magnetic materials whatsoever, suppressing electromagnetic and radiated noise generated by AV equipment and cables, reproducing sound that is closer to the original.
■ Overview PALSHUT is an innovative noise suppression material that does not use any magnetic materials, and it can suppress electromagnetic noise and radiation noise generated by AV equipment and cables, reproducing sounds that are closer to the original sound.
Oyaide Electric has commercialized the "MWA Series" sendust alloy electromagnetic wave absorber, which has been a long-selling product that has been very well received. Now, in order to meet the needs of today's society that is sensitive to high frequency noise, we have begun development of a new noise suppression material with the aim of further improving performance, and have created the "NRF-005T."
Our focus is on avoiding the trap of finding a fish in clear water. Audio accessories that claim to have noise-absorbing properties can, unless carefully designed, filter out the nuances and realism that should be present in music and video, causing them to lose their vitality.
The NRF-005T resolves the dilemma between noise reduction and fidelity to the original sound, offering a groundbreaking and innovative product for all audiophiles.
■Features 5 features of Parushat
- High-performance nonwoven fabric that does not contain any magnetic materials.
・Effective against noise over a wide frequency range from the MHz to GHz bands.
- The base material is thin at 0.05mm and extremely lightweight.
- It has excellent flexibility and can be attached to uneven surfaces.
- Both the sheet surface and the cut surface have high insulating properties, so it can be attached to conductive surfaces.
What is "PULSHUT"?
Conventional noise suppression materials have the property that the amount of noise suppression can be controlled by adjusting the magnetic material and amount used. They have high magnetic loss characteristics and achieve noise absorption by converting electromagnetic noise into heat.
On the other hand, the impedance in a specific frequency band increases, which affects the waveform of the original sound. This is similar to the properties of a ferrite core.
In the audio industry, it is well known that magnetic materials cause electromagnetic fields, which change sound quality, and so noise suppression and fidelity to the original sound were mutually exclusive. This meant that, just like EMC/EMI countermeasures, appropriate noise suppression was also necessary for audio.
By applying a special surface treatment to high-performance nonwoven fabric, PULSHUT R has high noise suppression performance despite being non-magnetic. This characteristic makes it possible to suppress only the noise component while minimizing the impact on the waveform of the original sound.

Easy to cut with scissors and apply, this tape is highly flexible and can be applied to curved surfaces such as cables. It is easy to process and work with.
The acrylic adhesive provides reworkable adhesion while still providing sufficient holding power to allow for repeated repositioning.
In addition, the support is made of PET resin, which keeps the shape stable even after cutting, and the nonwoven fabric can be applied without fraying. The trick to achieving a neat finish is to apply it with a slight tension.
It is expected to be used in a variety of ways as a high-frequency noise countermeasure in fields other than acoustic applications.
Usage example: "Noise suppression for devices that are sensitive to magnetism"
"As a lightweight, thin noise suppression material"
"High frequency noise countermeasures for PCs, smartphones, and game consoles"
※※Precautions for use※※
- It can be used in a wide temperature range of -20 to 90°C, but please avoid attaching it to parts that are likely to overheat or cool beyond this temperature (CPU, GPU, vacuum tubes, etc.).
-After pasting, you can peel it off by hand, but just to be on the safe side, please avoid pasting it in places where it will be difficult to peel off.
- Avoid using the product in a way that hinders heat dissipation, such as blocking the heat dissipation holes of an amplifier or computer.
- Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
- Avoid storing or using in high temperature and humidity conditions as this may cause the adhesive to deteriorate.
- Be sure to thoroughly wipe off any dirt or oil from the adherend (opposite surface) before applying the sticker.
- Although the adhesive used is reworkable, repeated application and removal will weaken the adhesive.
・The tape is designed to not leave any adhesive residue, but just to be safe, please do not stick it in places where leaving marks would be a problem.
