When using headphones or earphones, the included cable may not be long enough to connect to the headphone amplifier, necessitating the use of a headphone extension cable. However, high-quality extension cables are virtually nonexistent, and traditional extension cables have resulted in compromises in sound quality or limitations on listening position. Even when building a homemade extension cable, the lack of high-quality female plugs on the market has forced compromises in sound quality. Oyaide Electric has therefore developed the new "J-3.5SR" 3.5mm stereo mini female plug. The "J-3.5SR" is a 3.5mm stereo mini jack terminal designed with the utmost in audio quality in mind. Its machined copper alloy housing and copper alloy electrodes with a dual silver/rhodium plating are molded in a glass filler-mixed resin for excellent heat resistance and rigidity. The extremely thinly machined copper alloy cover is hardened with a beryl chrome plating for lightweight, vibration-damping properties, and a luxurious finish. Please use the "J-3.5SR" as a must-have item when making your own extension cable.
