The T60RP, which has been well received for listening purposes, has evolved into the mk2, featuring the 4th generation RP driver, a fully driven planar diaphragm driver developed and manufactured in-house by Fostex, housed in a solid black walnut housing.
With a completely new housing design and precise acoustic tuning with the new driver, you can enjoy this next-generation model of flat diaphragm headphones for listening.

● Semi-open housing carved from solid black walnut wood The solid black walnut housing allows you to enjoy the beautiful wood grain and natural texture, allowing you to enjoy a natural sound that is pleasant to listen to, from rich, solid depth in the bass range to clear, expansive high frequencies.

● RP driver evolved to the 4th generation
RP Technology's full-face drive planar diaphragm driver, which has been continuously improved with its proprietary technology for 50 years, is the fourth generation, and in order to expand and uniform the vibration area of the planar diaphragm, the magnets sandwiching the diaphragm have been increased and the pattern shape of the printed coil has been newly designed.In addition, the components of the magnetic circuit have been completely redesigned to optimize the magnetic flux distribution, suppressing unnecessary diaphragm resonance and achieving sharp response in the rise and fall of the sound.
The fourth-generation driver was developed by fully incorporating the various technologies we have cultivated over the years, achieving improved sensitivity, smooth frequency characteristics that are easy to monitor, and excellent transient characteristics.
By enabling accurate and delicate reproduction of sounds from the deep bass to the high frequencies, the system has achieved even greater accuracy in positioning and sound field reproduction than before.

● Uses a Y cable with independent left and right connections, making it easy to re-cable.
Both the left and right housings are equipped with connectors, and connection is via a newly developed Y cable.
The 2-pole 3.5 mm connector improves re-cabling compatibility and increases versatility.
The cable uses high-quality OFC conductors.
An optional balanced cable, 4.4:ET-RP4.4BL2Y, is available.

● Comfortable ear padsThe ear pads are made of low-resilience, around-ear design for a comfortable fit, allowing you to listen comfortably for long periods of time.
Optional Toray Ultrasuede ear pads (EX-EP-RP-SUEDE) are also available.
It is less likely to get sweaty, has a soft feel, and provides smooth, high-quality sound from deep bass to high frequencies.
