- Delivers true Neumann sound, ideal for close-miking acoustic instruments during live performances.
・Electret technology has been raised to the standard of Neumann sound. ・Long-life design for on-site use. ・One capsule can be used for various instruments, regardless of volume. ・Can be connected to various bodypack transmitters.

-----

The MCM System miniature clip microphone sets a new standard for closed-micing, raising the bar for electret capsules. It delivers the signature Neumann sound from any acoustic instrument used live. It redefines the standard for natural sound, practicality, reliable mounting, and long life. Nine instrument-specific mounting clips are included to accommodate a wide range of acoustic instruments. Its modular design allows for easy replacement, ensuring excellent cost-performance.

Capsules: Eight Perfect Parts Achieve a new level of tonal balance, with enhanced body, particularly in the bass and midrange, and clarity in the high frequencies. The newly developed KK 14 cardioid capsule overcomes the limitations of previous electret microphones and captures the distinctive sound of a wide variety of sound sources. To achieve this, Neumann developed a layer-based design. Each of the capsule's eight major components is individually designed for optimal performance, manufactured, and assembled by hand. Strict quality control also guarantees an unprecedented level of tonal consistency. Each capsule sounds identical, providing a neutral, Neumann-style sound and reducing setup and EQ tuning time, especially when using multiple microphones simultaneously.

With an ultra-low noise level of 23dBA and an extremely high maximum sound pressure level of 153dB SPL, the KK 14 delivers perfect results with both very quiet and very loud instruments.

The titanium housing is road-hardy and provides years of protection for your more sensitive parts.

◎Connectivity
The MCM system includes interchangeable cable options with 3.5mm jack, Lemo, 4-pin mini XLR, and MicroDot connectors, eliminating the need for adapters, and also allows for wired connections using the MCM 100 high-end output stage and 3.5mm jack cable.

◎Mounting options
The foundation of the MCM system is its versatile mounting options, allowing for easy and secure attachment of microphones to any instrument. The mechanism is gentle on even the most delicate surfaces and allows for easy, one-handed installation on most instruments. The gooseneck holder rotates on one or two axes and locks in 45° increments for precise adjustment.

◎MC 3 STRINGS CLIP DOUBLE BASS
This clip is used to attach the capsule and gooseneck of a miniature clip microphone system to the strings below the bridge of a double bass.
