Top quality sound at an affordable price
Made in the US stereo ribbon microphone

The AL959 is a stereo microphone based on the highly acclaimed AL95 piston ribbon microphone, allowing two microphones to be used in either Blumlein or MS configurations.

The AL959 stereo microphone offers the particularly important advantage of perfect phase between both channels, even at very high frequencies, thanks to matched motors positioned as close as possible. Another advantage is that live and location setups require only one unit, connected via a 4-core cable (a Y-splitter is included), allowing for a more efficient setup. Its compact and lightweight design sets a new standard for stereo ribbon microphones, making it ideal for everyone from artists seeking the highest quality recordings in live, studio, and home studio settings to professional recording engineers.

Samar Audio is the only brand that has succeeded in offering ultimate performance stereo microphones at an exceptional price for a fully American-made stereo ribbon microphone, thanks to its many years of perfecting ribbon transducers and its experience in in-house processing and assembly.

Specially designed to deliver an extremely smooth, extended frequency response and low distortion, they are carefully hand-assembled in the company's shop in Salt Lake City.
