Description

★Extra Long Boom Stand MS737BK
Equipped with a long boom arm that reaches approximately 1m, it is ideal for use in environments requiring height and distance, as well as for miking drum overheads and grand pianos.
Like other IRON WORKS models, this boom microphone stand features various mechanisms to keep the microphone in a stable position, such as a boom angle adjustment mechanism that uses drum stand technology and a tripod base that uses a solid iron rod to ensure a low center of gravity.

Extra Long Boom Arm
The biggest feature of the MS737BK is its integrated long boom arm, which is 1,055 mm in total length (including counterweight).
It is ideal for use in environments requiring height and distance, such as for overhead microphones placed high above a drummer, for miking an acoustic piano, or even for setting up a vocal microphone next to an 88-key keyboard.

Die-Cast Locking Thumb Nut
The tip of the boom arm where the microphone holder is attached features a lever-shaped lock nut that can be pressed with your thumb. This allows for a firm fit when attaching the holder and a small amount of force when removing it. Another attractive feature is the design, which prevents finger strain.

Vice-Grip Boom Tilter
The boom tilter uses friction between six metal plates to provide a stronger torque to fix the boom angle. What's more, unlike rubber friction plates, the tilter's tightness is not affected by wear or temperature changes.

Sure-Cast Adjustment Collar
The design fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and can be secured with light force. A rubber spacer is inserted at the bottom end of the lower pipe, preventing your fingers from getting pinched even if the upper pipe suddenly falls when you loosen your grip.

Latch-Lok Sleeve Insert
The height adjustment grip is equipped with a nylon ring-shaped bushing. This bushing expands and contracts when the grip is operated, securing the upper pipe. This bushing fits into a groove on the top end of the lower pipe, so it will not rotate with the grip, preventing accidental operation.

Silent T-Handle
The T-handle, which is operated by hand when adjusting the boom tilt, is the part of a microphone stand that is adjusted most frequently. The TAMA IRON WORKS STUDIO series T-handles feature an internal plastic part that holds the handle rod in place when tightened, preventing noise from being generated in this area.

Detachable Boom Arm
If you remove the boom arm from the upper pipe, it can also be used as a straight stand. When reattaching, be sure to tighten the lock nut firmly and check that there is no wobble.

Vibration-Isolating Rubber Feet
The rubber legs at the tip of the tripod use TAMA's original floating design, which makes them less susceptible to vibrations from the floor on which they are placed.
