This high-resolution, variable-directional condenser microphone features a 2-way microphone capsule configuration for high and low frequencies, delivering both expansive high frequencies and rich mid- and low-frequency ranges.

The newly developed high-frequency microphone capsule achieves highly reproducible sound pickup up to 50kHz thanks to a thinner, lighter diaphragm and reduced acoustic impedance of the back electrode plate. The newly developed low-frequency microphone capsule achieves high sensitivity by reducing the acoustic impedance of the back plate, resulting in powerful, rich recording. Furthermore, both the high-frequency and low-frequency microphone capsules use high-strength, highly insulating polyetherimide (PEI) as the insulating structural material, processed with high-precision resin cutting. The capsule case and back electrode are made of brass, machined with high precision. High-precision assembly ensures high-precision sound pickup with minimal distortion. Furthermore, the diaphragm is vapor-deposited with 24K gold, resulting in highly pure sound quality.

The microphone case and chassis are made of high-density zinc die-cast to ensure vibration isolation and damping. The microphone sleeve is made of machined aluminum, and the sleeve bottom is made of machined brass. This dissimilar metal construction eliminates unwanted resonance and ensures clear sound.
