The sE8 is a modern, high-performance small diaphragm condenser microphone designed to meet a wide range of studio and stage challenges.
The new handcrafted capsule features a refined backplate design that provides a well-balanced sound without being harsh at all, making it ideal for sources such as drum overheads and hi-hats.
One of the quietest small capsule microphones ever, it offers best-in-class dynamic range and SPL handling, plus an attenuation pad and low-cut filter, making it perfect for any studio or stage sound.

The -10dB/-20dB switchable pad expands the dynamic range, enabling a wider range of applications such as brass instruments and snare drums, as well as close-mic techniques.
Switchable low-cut filter
The selectable 80Hz/160Hz low-cut filter reduces low-frequency rumble and unwanted foot noise, and helps balance excessive proximity effect when using close microphones.

The sE8's metal chassis effectively suppresses electrical interference and noise, while its high-quality finish and gold-plated XLR connectors ensure a reliable signal connection. The newly designed included microphone clip allows for secure mounting on a microphone stand.
