Description
Description
The GRACE design m900 is a monitor controller, DAC/headphone amplifier that takes your desktop audio playback environment to a new level. Whether you're using it for reference monitoring in a pro studio environment, laptop editing or audio mixing, or simply listening to music, the m900 offers the professional-grade quality and reliability you expect from GRACE design, all in a rugged, beautiful, and ergonomic portable design.
In addition to an asynchronous USB DAC supporting 32-bit/384kHz PCM and 11.2MHz (256x) DSD, the m900 also boasts expanded digital inputs including S/PDIF and Toslink. The m900 embodies the fruits of years of research and development into the design of USB DACs and headphone amplifiers, including a perfect two-mode USB power supply design, crossfeed functionality, four DAC filters, a headphone output with 0-ohm output impedance, and a line output that can also be used as a speaker volume control.
The m900 is designed to play all the music you have, whether you're in the studio, on your desktop at home, or on the go.
●Equipped with the latest AKM 4490 DAC chip
The m900 utilizes the latest AKM 4490 DAC chip. It features 32-bit processing and fully supports PCM up to 384kHz or 11.2MHz (256x) DSD. Digital inputs have been expanded to three inputs: USB, S/PDIF, and Toslink. Four DAC filter types are available. The USB interface operates in asynchronous mode, using the m900 as the clock master for ultra-low jitter playback.
Two Power Modes The m900's intelligent power design allows it to operate in two power modes. Low-power mode (LOW) is the standard connection method, sharing a single USB cable for both USB bus power and data transmission. High-power mode separates the power and data lines by connecting the included 2A USB DC power supply to the second USB connector, achieving even higher-quality monitoring performance.
Expanded input/output configuration: In addition to two headphone outputs, the m900 is equipped with an RCA line output, allowing you to use the m900 as a speaker volume controller (preamp).
●Michael Grace's perfect design has been further refined.
The "current feedback circuit" amplifier design consistently adopted by GRACE design, combined with the "0 ohm output" headphone output, creates a "new frontier of sound" that is transparent, has excellent sound field, and brings out the perfect low-end reproduction capabilities. It can be said that the acclaimed GRACE design sound has evolved again.
Its greatest appeal is its "perfect design," which can only be achieved by GRACE design, an outstanding engineering team led by Michael Grace, a circuit designer who represents modern professional audio.
● Latest version of "crossfeed circuit"
The latest version of the "Crossfeed Circuit" can be turned on or off from the setup menu. It simulates speaker playback in a real acoustic environment, providing a fatigue-free, more relaxed headphone listening experience.
Pursuit of an Unwavering Concept: For over 20 years, GRACE design has pursued the concept of "conveying the artistic beauty present in music with unwavering fidelity" and has continued to pursue only the most authentic audio grade audio. The company's relentless pursuit of delicate expression and "1:1 transmission," including even the quietest parts, can be found throughout the design of the m900.
When you listen to familiar tracks, you're sure to discover new details. This not only improves the accuracy of your audio production processes, including monitoring during recording, mixing, and mastering, but also makes your work faster and easier.
