Description

*Operates with the separately sold PSU-1 (TG CHANNEL dedicated power supply).
The original TG12413 limiter, which was featured on many masterpieces from the 1960s and 1970s, including the late Beatles works, as well as PINK FLOYD, Paul McCartney, and the Rolling Stones, was previously installed only in EMI-affiliated studios, but now it can finally be obtained.

The warm, open sound of the TG12413 limiter creates a wonderful vintage sound that is like a more organic version of the Fairchild 660/670.
The EMI / Abbey Road Studio Special Edition is an exquisite reproduction of the original in collaboration with EMI/Abbey Road Studio, and also includes many new features.

The newly added THD control adds powerful harmonic distortion to the signal when the compressor/limiter threshold is bypassed, adding rich harmonics to digital stereo sources to warm the sound quality, or you can use one channel of the TG1 as a THD control and the other channel as a compressor/limiter.

Featuring top-quality parts like pure-blooded transformers and Elma step controls, the amp also features a range of controls that are useful on the job, including a 2-mode COMP/LIMIT switch that allows for a wide range of sounds, from the fast, natural tracking compressor of the Urei 1176 to the thick, warm hard limiting sound of the Fairchild 660/670, a step gain output control, HOLD/INPUT and RECOVERY controls, and stereo link.

With its excellent S/N ratio, clear, organic sound, and sense of realism, this is a luxurious masterpiece that is perfect for any application, whether tracking, mixing, or mastering.
