Description
Description
The FR-AV2 is a compact field recorder that supports 32-bit float recording and is equipped with a time code generator.
It can be seamlessly integrated into a timecode synchronization system for video recording without the need for any other timecode devices.
In addition to being able to wirelessly monitor audio, it also supports remote control of multiple units and wireless timecode synchronization (when using the separately sold Bluetooth adapter ``AK-BT2'').
This is an all-in-one audio recording solution for videographers that can be used for a wide range of recording applications, including video production for movies, dramas, news, weddings, and other events.
■The FR-AV2 features dual ADC functionality, enabling 32-bit float recording at up to 192kHz, achieving a wide dynamic range.
It supports 32-bit float recording, which maintains resolution even when adjusting the volume during editing, eliminating the need for cumbersome gain settings and allowing for distortion-free recording.
Its robust casing and compact palm-sized design ensure the mobility required on-site, while supporting high-quality recording with a sampling frequency of up to 192 kHz.
■Supports audio monitoring with wireless headphonesBy using the separately sold Bluetooth adapter ``AK-BT2,'' you can record while remotely monitoring the recorded audio using Bluetooth-compatible wireless headphones/earphones, allowing you to record with confidence even in environments where wired monitoring is not possible.
Additionally, by using the free remote control app "TASCAM RECORDER CONNECT," you can remotely control up to five "FR-AV2" or TASCAM's pin microphone recorder "DR-10L Pro" units simultaneously from a mobile device. In addition to individual operations such as transport control and recording settings, you can also start and stop recording on all connected units at once.
■Flexible timecode synchronization solution Equipped with a timecode generator function, it can input and output timecode with DSLR cameras and other timecode synchronization devices.
Time code synchronization between devices can be performed without using an external device.
Equipped with a high-precision TCXO (temperature-compensated crystal oscillator), it also supports high-precision synchronization with jam sync.
Additionally, by using the separately sold Bluetooth adapter AK-BT2, wireless timecode synchronization with Atomos UltraSync BLUE is also possible.
■Highly visible color LCD display The FR-AV2 is equipped with a vivid 2-inch color display and has a simple menu structure, which not only provides the mobility that comes with its compact body, but also visibility and operability that can withstand use in video recording sites where delicate and quick equipment operation is required.
■ Input system that achieves professional sound quality recording
Equipped with two XLR/TRS combo jacks with TASCAM Ultra HDDA mic preamps, the DP-1000 offers a low noise floor of less than -127dBu EIN for clear recording. A TRS line input is also available for flexible connection to a variety of devices. A 3.5mm stereo input is also provided for use with lavalier microphones.
■Realize high-quality video recording on your iPhone Not only can it be used as a standalone recorder, but it can also be connected to an iOS device, Mac, or Windows PC and function as a 2-in/2-out 32-bit float compatible USB audio interface.
It can be incorporated into smartphone rigs and other devices to easily record videos with professional-quality audio, and even when recording with 32-bit float compatible applications such as DAW software, it achieves wide dynamic range and high resolution recording without the need to fine-tune the input level.
