The CD-400U supports playback of a wide variety of media, including audio CDs, data CDs, SD/SDHC cards, and USB memory. It supports WAV, MP3, AAC, and WMA file formats. It's ideal for a wide range of installations requiring playback of various media and files. The CD-400U also offers flexible playback options, including continuous, single, and random playback, and the ability to turn the repeat function on or off, allowing it to flexibly accommodate a wide variety of playback situations.
■ Wireless playback possible from Bluetooth-enabled devices
You can play music files from Bluetooth®-compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets, and portable music players. Once a device has been connected, you can quickly connect wirelessly by simply pressing the pairing button. You can easily play music files without being restricted by wires or file formats.
■ Equipped with an AM/FM tuner
The unit is equipped with an AM/FM radio tuner that supports wideband FM. 20 preset stations can be set for each. It also has an independent tuner output terminal, allowing simultaneous playback of other media.
■ Equipped with an external input terminal
Equipped with a stereo mini AUX IN jack, you can play music from portable music players that do not support Bluetooth via the CD-400U.
■ Equipped with two analog output systems

■Dubbing of CD or tuner audio to SD card or USB memory is possible
You can dub audio from an audio CD or tuner to an SD/SDHC card or USB flash drive using only the CD-400U itself, without using a computer. Simply press the dubbing button and start playing the audio to begin dubbing.
Equipped with an incremental play function that transports to the beginning of the next track.When the incremental play function is enabled, pressing the PLAY button on the main unit or remote control during playback will start playback from the beginning of the next track, and pressing the STOP button on the main unit or remote control during playback will put the unit into playback standby at the beginning of the next track.This is useful for applications such as performances where the sound source will not be used to the end.
■External control is possible using the standard RS-232C terminal or Ethernet control card.
An RS-232C serial terminal is provided as standard, allowing for flexible support for facility audio systems that require external control. Furthermore, by installing the optional Ethernet control card IF-E100, external control via Ethernet is also possible.
Basic operations such as playback, track skipping, rewinding/fast forwarding, and the playback media switching operation unique to multi-players can all be controlled via Telnet.In addition, detailed playback settings such as playback mode (continuous play/single play/random play), repeat, and incremental play can also be controlled.
