Description
The 60s Experience is a pickup that is based on the vintage sound of the 1960s and pursues a sound that matches modern reissue models.
The volume balance of a guitar's sound varies depending on the string specifications, and when using a modern, standard three-string set with a vintage-style staggered pickup, the volume balance of the third string tends to be dominant. (Wound-string sets were common in the 1950s and early 1960s.) Therefore, the ST 60s Experience was created to match the current mainstream three-string set, while retaining a vintage feel and pursuing balance, resolution, and a full sound for each string.
It is also ideal for fingerboards with a gentle radius such as 9.5R, providing a nearly perfect sound balance. The RWRP middle pickup also provides hum cancellation even in half tones, providing a clear, harmonically rich sound.
