This combination with a new preamp brings out new possibilities for LRBaggs' unique Tru-Mic microphone.
This microphone system has finally been completed for players who seek the atmosphere that can only be captured by microphone recording.
Unlike conventional pickups and microphones, Tru-Mic captures only the resonance and vibration of the guitar's top, capturing the natural, natural sound of the guitar while minimizing noise. The signal is then shaped into the ideal acoustic sound by a preamp with a special built-in compressor. This combination delivers an acoustic sound with astonishing dynamics and detail that rivals anything captured with an external microphone.
The key to Lyric is the special Tru-Mic microphone, which weighs just 14g and doesn't affect the sound of the top of the guitar. This revolutionary microphone captures the purest sound of the guitar.

Analog acoustic sounds can only be captured with analog microphones.
With previous acoustic pickups, no matter how good the natural sound, the pickup's sound was ultimately that of an electric acoustic guitar. Putting a microphone inside the pickup was generally considered useless, as it only caused feedback. However, with the Tru-Mic technology system, you can now experience a truly acoustic sound that was previously impossible to achieve. The second maintains the mic's sweetness no matter how hard you play. The third innovation is an adjustable presence control that dials in the perfect high frequency response for your guitar.
