Description
Introduced in 1981, the Music Recording 3 (MR3) console quickly became a favorite of many of the world's leading engineers and studios, contributing to the creation of some of the most iconic albums of the '70s and '80s. Like all Harrison production tools, the MR3 EQ delivers the vibe that inspires artists and the precision that satisfies engineers.
Legendary Harrison analog console sound
Harrison consoles have helped create some of the most acclaimed and influential music in history. Iconic artists such as Michael Jackson, ABBA, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Donald Fagan, and many more have relied on Harrison production tools to create multi-platinum albums. Harrison's latest 500 Series modules deliver the sounds and features that engineers like Bruce Swedien, Roger Nichols, and Reinhold Mack trusted to create timeless music that continues to shine today.
■MR3eq design
The MR3eq is a high-performance analog EQ born from decades of experience in equalizer and filter design. This EQ circuit design delivers highly accurate audio processing and a rich, colorful sound character, and the interplay between each band makes it effective in a wide range of musical genres.
■3-Band Parametric with HPF This powerful 3-band parametric equalizer features 6 dB/octave Shelf bands on the low and high frequencies, and can be switched to a second-order bell response with Harrison's famous proportional Q. The MR3eq's flexible design and powerful sculpting capabilities make it a versatile tool for enhancing a variety of sources, and it is equally effective in both tracking and mixdown scenes.
