Description

The 32Cpre+ combines the high-performance microphone preamps from the 32Classic studio console with the renowned Harrison LP/HP filters, delivered in a 500 series format.
Inspired by the iconic Harrison 3232 analog console, the 32Classic mixing console and preamps delivered the tone that helped create some of the most iconic albums of the '70s and '80s, reimagining an American icon.

Legendary Harrison Analog Console Sound: Harrison consoles have contributed to the creation of some of the most acclaimed and influential music in history. Iconic artists such as Michael Jackson, ABBA, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Donald Fagan, and many more have relied on Harrison production tools to create multi-platinum albums. Harrison's latest 500 Series modules deliver the sounds and features that engineers like Bruce Swedien, Roger Nichols, and Reinhold Mack trusted to create timeless music that continues to shine today.

■Harrison's tone
The 32Cpre+ delivers Harrison's signature warm, rich tone. This Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer-coupled mic pre delivers rich low end, a wide midrange, and an ultra-smooth, natural high range. The gentle roll-off at both ends of the frequency spectrum, combined with the subtle phase shift provided by the 1:1 transformer, creates a sweet-sounding mic pre that's perfect for any source.

■Tracking tools
The 32Cpre+ provides smooth gain from +20 to +70dB, capable of driving a variety of microphone types, including ribbons. In addition to phase reverse, 48V, -20 pad, and HiZ impedance switches, the front panel features a combo XLR and 1/4 inch jack connector, allowing you to connect microphones or instruments directly to the 32Cpre+ without accessing the rear panel of a 500 Series rack.

■The legendary Harrison filter
No Harrison mic preamp is complete without its legendary filters. As featured in Harrison's early 3232 analog consoles and the latest 32Classic consoles, the filters have a musical 12dB/octave slope and the high-pass filter has a distinctive 3dB resonant peak. The high-pass filter operates from 25 Hz to 3.1 KHz, and the low-pass filter operates from 160 Hz to 20 KHz.
