The Model 2400 is a recording mixer that combines the operability of an analog mixer with the functionality of digital technology.
Equipped with a wide range of output systems, including high-quality microphone preamps, a one-knob compressor, a 3-band EQ, channel insert terminals, and a master processor, it offers the functionality required for home recording and music production without compromise. It also features 24-track multitrack recording functionality, allowing you to complete multitrack recording and mixdown in a simple system all in one unit.
■22-channel input mixer compatible with 24-track multi-recording
This mixer is suitable for studios and live performances that require a large number of channels, with 16 XLR microphone inputs, 22 TRS line inputs, and outputs including MAIN L/R, CONTROL ROOM L/R, 5 AUX sends, 4 stereo SUB buses, and 2 headphone out jacks.
In addition, the unit itself is capable of multi-recording 24 tracks (22 mono + stereo mix).
■ Insert terminals and master bus processors for connecting outboard equipment
Channels 1 to 12 are equipped with insert terminals, allowing you to use outboard equipment such as compressors and equalizers.
The main bus also features a master compressor and equalizer, and the main output bus insert terminals allow you to connect your favorite external mastering processors, such as a stereo compressor or equalizer.
■ 5 AUX sends, 4 stereo SUB outs
Equipped with 5 AUX sends. AUX5 can also be used as the built-in FX send, allowing 4 monitor sends even when using the built-in FX.
In addition, four stereo SUB outputs make it easy to output to multiple speakers. It can also be used as a SUB bus to combine multiple microphones set up on drums. It can be used not only for home recording, but also for small-scale PA/SR in studios, live music venues, etc.
■24-track multi-recording It is possible to perform multi-track recording simultaneously with mixing.
Supporting WAV format up to 24-bit/48kHz, the unit can record up to 24 tracks (22 mono + stereo mix) to an SD card inserted in the front panel. This makes it ideal for recording without a DAW, or as a backup device when recording with a DAW.
