Description

★Beastly DI

Whether you're using an electric guitar, bass, piezo pickup, keyboard, synthesizer, drum machine, or laptop, the DM3 is a compact, active in-line DI with Ultra-HiZ input and striking looks. It's sure to be your key to great sound!

Ultra-HiZ input for maximum instrument performance

The DM3 offers an incredible 10 megaohm input impedance, placing virtually no strain on your instrument, preserving its original sound character. sE's acclaimed Dynamite technology, featured in the DM1 and DM2, ensures uncolored signal quality even with low-output pickups.

Ample headroom for hot instruments

The DM3 is designed to handle the highest output levels from any source, including keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines, and laptops, even up to the output of a solid-state power amplifier (285 Vrms or 805 Vp-p).* If the input is too loud, the built-in attenuation pad switch attenuates the signal by 15 or 30 dB, allowing you to accommodate any input level.

*The DM3 cannot be used with tube amplifiers. Doing so may cause damage to the amplifier or lead to accidents.

The new standard for ground lift switches

Featuring sE's exclusive new on+ circuitry, the DM3's three-position ground lift switch effectively suppresses unwanted buzz and hum, as well as hiss and unwanted radio frequency interference. Find the optimum setting for the cleanest signal in your studio, home recording studio, concert venue, house of worship, or anywhere else.

Locking 1/4" input jack and special SE plug keychain

The DM3 features a locking 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) input jack, allowing you to securely connect your instruments in live or recording environments. It also includes a special sE plug keychain for convenient portability.

Dedicated Class A output buffer amplifier and luxurious finish

State-of-the-art electronics deliver the lowest noise in its class, and the proven Class A design prevents zero crossover distortion. The DM3 buffers the signal regardless of load impedance or cable length, so you can expect a powerful, clean, stable signal for years to come.

Slim all-metal discrete housing and gold-plated XLR connectors

The DM3's high-quality manufacturing standards, rugged construction, and gold-plated XLR connectors provide a reliable, lossless signal. The DM3 connects directly to audio interfaces, mixers, stage boxes, and other common XLR inputs, eliminating the need for extra cables.
