8-Channel Scarlett Mic Pre
Building on the functionality of Scarlett OctoPre, Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic features eight Scarlett second-generation microphone preamps, expanding the number of inputs in your equipment and providing analog compression on each input channel for more precise dynamics control.
The front panel "More" button doubles the ratio for more aggressive compression.
Focusrite's proud AD/DA conversion
Focusrite's AD, a leader in the AD field, accurately outputs the input performance to ADAT and sends it to equipment such as interfaces, and also outputs the ADAT signal as a balanced output from the 8-channel DA. These two ADAT inputs and outputs function flexibly, allowing for expansion of the studio system.
Two high-headroom Hi-Z instrument inputs: Two high-headroom instrument inputs handle even the most powerful guitar pickups. Compression can also be applied simultaneously, allowing you to control the dynamics of electric basses and guitars.
Ideal multi-track recording tool
Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic is also suitable for expanding high-quality multi-channel recording systems.

Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic's eight analog outputs allow direct input from microphone preamps, or eight analog output channels from a DAW via the ADAT input, supporting multi-channel outboard mixing.
ADAT
ADAT is a simple and easy way to expand your analog inputs.
The ADAT standard transmits up to eight channels of audio over inexpensive optical cables.
Simply connect the OctoPre's ADAT output to the interface's ADAT input and set the sample rate and clock source to the same to use it as an expanded input.
ADAT inputs are available on many Focusrite and third-party interfaces and are interchangeable.
