The Telefunken TD-1 (1-channel) and TD-2 (2-channel) are newly designed passive DIs that combine premium-quality components and rugged construction to deliver a rich, warm sound.
Featuring UK-made OEP/Carnhill transformers and a design approach that embodies "simple is best," this passive DI delivers natural tone with excellent vibe and character to complement it.
High-quality audio transformers are just one of the premium design elements of TD Series direct boxes.
The PCB is 100% hand assembled for safety and reliability. All circuit traces are gold plated for maximum longevity and conductivity. High impedance reduces the load on passive pickups.
The frequency response is ±2dB, within the range of 10 Hz - 40, minimizing distortion and noise.
The circuitry is housed in a very sturdy extruded aluminium enclosure.
It is designed to be durable and durable enough to be carried around on tour.
Each channel has a -15dB pad switch and a ground lift switch.
The TD-2 is a 2-channel unit, so you can use one unit with two instruments, whether on stage or in the studio.
