Description
The Nicerizer 16mk2 is a product that was born out of many requests from ProTools and other DAW users.
Rather than completing the mix within the DAW, the various parts of the mix are grouped together, output as analog signals to external equipment, and then mixed again in analog, adding a unique airiness to the sound and giving the final product a more natural power.
The Nicerizer 16mk2 is designed to take up to 16 channels of audio that have been processed in the digital domain as an analog signal and add the character and feel of a Class A circuit to the sound.
The Nicerizer 16mk2 achieves outstanding results by combining what Phoenix Audio is most acclaimed for by professionals: a Class A output stage with the latest transformerless Class A discrete line input stage.
This is a 2U rackmountable 16-in/2-out solution. Each input channel is equipped with a PAN control and +8dB boost switch (there are no level controls for each channel), the monitor section is equipped with a headphone output and a monitor channel selector, and the output section is equipped with a stereo width control and output level control.
