Introduced by Line 6 in 2002, the Variax modeling guitar is an innovative instrument that offers guitarists a remarkably wide range of tones based on some of the most popular electric and acoustic guitars in history. To bring the Variax guitar to life with its latest evolution, Line 6 partnered with legendary luthier James Tyler to create an exceptional instrument that perfectly delivers Variax technology.
The James Tyler Variax is an innovative modeling guitar that lets you enjoy all 25 guitar models and 11 tunings in one instrument! The acoustic sound has also been updated, resulting in an even more realistic acoustic feel!

The JTV-59 is built as a quintessential guitar with a single cutaway, set neck, and 624mm scale length, using tonewoods that have been used in this format since the 1950s. The smooth, rounded Tyler '59 neck profile and comfortably shaped neck heel provide superior playability. Efficient tuners and a James Tyler Custom stop-tail bridge maintain robustness and excellent resonance.

■During song performance, you can switch between a wide range of sounds, from twangy country tones to thick, bluesy tones and the distinctive sounds of resonator-style guitars. The new LR Baggs Radiance Hex (polyphonic) piezo pickup housed in the bridge saddle delivers perfect nuances with a much more accurate and faithful tone than ever before in each model.

■ The Alnico humbucking pickups are wound to James Tyler's specifications and are inspired by classic PAFs, but with a slight extra punch in the bridge position. The JTV-59 guitar is meticulously crafted to the standards of one of the world's most highly regarded guitar factories. Each guitar undergoes adjustment and inspection in its respective region before sale.

■25 Variax guitar models inspired by vintage electronic and acoustic guitars, 11 customizable alternate tunings accessible via dedicated knobs, and a virtual capo function also available.
Equipped with a highly reliable polyphonic LR Baggs Radiance Hex piezo pickup system.

■VDI (Variax Digital Interface) connection to Line6 POD XT, POD X3, and Vetta II, which were available at the time, enabled dual-channel processing and integration of the guitar model section into POD presets.

We have a used item in stock. It was manufactured in 2013.
There are some minor scratches, paint stains, buckle damage on the back of the body, numerous dents, and tarnishing on the parts, but the current operation and playability, including the electrical system, are unaffected and without problems. We have performed maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is ready to use immediately.

The frets are in good working order and have almost all of their life left.
The nuts are in good working order and function normally. The truss rods also function correctly for normal adjustments.
