Description
Description
The Clarke Tin Whistle is the Stradivarius of the tin whistle, loved by renowned tin whistle players since 1843. The instrument is still made of tinplate with a wooden mouthpiece.
The traditional Clarke conical inner diameter is retained, resulting in a clear, responsive sound with the characteristic husky sound that is known as Chiff, a characteristic of tin whistles.
This is why it is loved by many artists and is known as the great Clarke tone.
The Original model is now available in gold color.
■CLARKE
The whistle has long been a popular European folk instrument.
This manufacturer was the first in the world to begin stable factory production, inspired by an idea that came to Robert Clark: "Couldn't we make a wooden whistle out of tin?"
The whistle, which is said to have originated in Ireland, combined with its clear, beautiful tone made it extremely popular among Irish people who had come to the UK, and the brand was established.
With a history of over 180 years, we have been making tin whistles and offer world-class quality and superior tone.
