Description

// Susato / Tin Whistle V Series Eb //

Susato whistles are made of ABS resin (plastic) and are shaped like a conical tube.
The tone is clearer than that of tin whistles in the 1,000 yen price range, and many people say it sounds similar to a recorder.
It's loud and clear, so it won't get lost in even the loudest sessions.
High notes tend not to reach their full pitch unless you blow quite hard.
This whistle is loved by many professional players, including Sean Ryan, Cormac Breatnach, and Kevin Crawford.

● The V series tube is thinner. The volume is slightly lower, but it is relatively easy to produce high notes.
On the other hand, if you put in too much air when playing low notes, the sound may become distorted, so this instrument is not suitable for people who breathe a lot.
All Susato products come with a thumb rest.
This is placed on the thumb of the lower hand (usually the right hand) to support the instrument from below.
If you don't need it, you can just remove it.

[Susato Tin Whistle Instructions]
This product tends to have a tendency to drop in pitch in the high-pitched range.
If you want to play in good tune, it's a good idea to get into the habit of blowing notes above the high G quite forcefully.
The inside of the tube will be wet after playing, but there is no need to wipe it off.
If the mouthpiece becomes dirty, the sound it produces may deteriorate, so if this happens, you can wash it by soaking it in hot water and using a mild dishwashing detergent.

[Maintenance points for Susato whistles]
Susato products are made of ABS resin (plastic), so basically no maintenance products are required.
If you don't have a cleaning rod, just wash it with water and let it dry naturally.

*If a sticker from the country of manufacture is attached to the body of the whistle, it may be torn or chipped, but this does not affect the playing of the whistle itself, so we will sell it as is.
In addition, accessories such as cases may be changed without notice.
Please be aware of this.
