Description
[Josh's Snare - Ballin 14 inch]
You no longer need tape, gel, blankets, ring scarves, wallets, felt, etc. to mute!
The BFSD (Big Fat Snare Drum) is inspired by the very dry, full, and massive, low-pitched snare drum sound of the 1970s (The BFSD!), and is designed to easily transform your snare drum into that vintage snare sound.
Unlike gel or tape mutes, without the need for various items, The BFSD simply places the BFSD on the surface of your snare drum, which is tuned to a high to medium pitch thanks to its unique, patented rubber and plastic film outer periphery, lowering the fundamental snare drum pitch and giving you the deep, warm, authentic 1970s sound that drummers love so much.
To make The BFSD comfortable for drummers, it has weight, balance, and a finger-shaped rubber gasket that allows for quick attachment and detachment while keeping the drummer stable. This makes it easy to create different sounds without having to constantly change tuning or bring in a second snare.
The BFSD, the Big Fat Snare Drum, is an item every drummer needs, made by drummers for drummers!
This adds a tambourine jingle sound to the distinctive 1970s snare drum sound of the BFSD (Big Fat Snare Drum), adding variation to the snare drum sound.
