Description
Description
It has been introduced not only in studios but also in many live sound venues.
BlackLionAudio's classic product, the MicroClock series, has been revamped as the Revolution Clock Series.
Revolution Clock is a world-class word clock with seven ultra-stable, low jitter outputs, including four BNC outputs for clocking external devices, plus S/PDIF, optical and AES/EBU outputs.
Patented Macro MMC technology ensures minimal jitter and low noise at sampling rates from 44.1 kHz to 384 kHz.
●BlackLionAudio's word clock generator has been improved
The BlackLionAudio Revolution Clock series has just 0.5pS RMS jitter at the BNC output, the lowest jitter of any clock BlackLionAudio has ever produced. Your productions sound their best when all devices are perfectly synchronized. When the system is set up correctly and the clocks are set correctly, many users experience a greater sense of space and depth thanks to more accurately reproduced reverb and stereo image. Some even notice elements of their mix that were inaudible before synchronizing the clocking!
● Patented BLA original technology Macro-MMC
All Revolution clocks utilize Black Lion Audio's patented Macro-MMC technology, developed from years of experience creating dedicated word clocks and our interface modification services. Macro-MMC is a unique clocking technology that guarantees low noise and minimal jitter through rigorous component selection and a unique signal propagation method. Starting with a high-quality oscillator (timing signal), and applying a unique signal propagation method throughout the unit, quality and precision are maintained all the way to the device's output.
While many common clock solutions use quartz oscillators, we chose a Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) oscillator for the Revolution Clock. We chose the MEM after conducting a blind test with the traditional quartz oscillator used in the XB Clock. The MEMS oscillator not only won in terms of subjective sound quality, but also in objective terms. While many clocks use oven stabilization, which is less susceptible to temperature fluctuations, MEMS oscillators are less susceptible to temperature fluctuations and therefore do not require a thermal solution for stabilization. Additionally, MEMS oscillators are more shock-resistant than quartz oscillators.
