Two 3.5-inch high-performance woofers and a high-resolution 1-inch tweeter with a back chamber are arranged symmetrically, top and bottom, left and right, and are often called "virtual coaxial."
The system uses an MTM (midwoofer + tweeter + midwoofer) design. As a result, even in near-field situations, the woofer and tweeter playback sounds are not separated, and appear to be coming from a single point. This eliminates the problem of different frequencies reaching the ears at different times as occurs with conventional two-way systems, eliminating fatigue even during long mixes.

With extended bass reproduction down to 36 Hz (-10 dB) and higher SPL levels, the iLoud series' signature "sound beyond its size" has been further enhanced. The improved bass reproduction and volume give it the same performance as larger speakers, enabling reference-quality monitoring for a wider range of applications.

The design also optimizes sound dispersion. Minimizing vertical dispersion reduces reflections from floors, desks, and ceilings, enabling accurate monitoring even at close range. Meanwhile, horizontal dispersion is wider than the original iLoud MTM, providing a larger sweet spot while maintaining smooth in-room response.
Along with improved power efficiency, the maximum SPL has also been expanded, providing enhanced support for situations requiring higher volume, such as immersive monitor setups and FOH mixes at live venues.

The latest ARC calibration function, which continues to evolve, is built in, allowing the speaker to perform optimal acoustic correction in any room.

The iLoud Precision series now supports X-MONITOR, the proven control software for the iLoud Precision series. Using X-MONITOR, you can control your iLoud MTM MKII speakers in ways beyond the controls on the back of the speakers. For example, X-MONITOR lets you set delay compensation for each iLoud MTM MKII speaker, allowing you to synchronize the timing between speakers when building an immersive audio system.
X-MONITOR also includes over 20 "voices" that emulate the frequency and phase characteristics of standard studio monitors. Selecting the voice of a model you've listened to in the past or the model your client uses at home will help you judge the mix objectively.
