Description
- The tweeter has been replaced with a new Kevlar tweeter, similar to the woofer section, which replaces the silk dome used in the VXT series.
- The amplifier is equipped with a powerful "Class D" digital amplifier with a total output of 85 watts.
- The front uses an aluminum frame to control excess vibration, and by attaching the included mesh grill, you can carry it to the site with confidence.
V series
- The newly developed woofer features a lightweight unit and a small, powerful amplifier to reproduce extended bass with reduced distortion.
Kevlar® is an incredible fiber, so good it's even used in bulletproof vests. KRK has discovered that this material is also ideal for disrupting standing waves, which cause distortion and coloration. Impregnated with a hardening resin to seal the fibers and coated with a polymer for enhanced damping, the Kevlar® cone maintains a continuous polar pattern at all frequencies, superior to any other cone material. The result is a sound with minimal delay or blurring, resulting in clean, precise bass.
Music is all about subtlety. The brush of a brush across a cymbal, the scrape of a pick across a guitar string, and even the atmosphere of the room in which the performance takes place all add a sense of life to the music. To reproduce these subtle nuances, we've upgraded the tweeter design. All V Series 4 models are equipped with Kevlar R cone tweeters. The result is stunningly clear and beautiful high frequencies.
Minimizing vibration requires the most rigid components possible. The V Series 4 features a solid aluminum baffle that is less susceptible to cabinet vibration. The result is razor-sharp reproduction of sonic detail, a deeper level of insight into the performance, and a precise, wide sweet spot for the engineer to mix.
- 49 different combinations of low and high control functions allow you to compensate for acoustic characteristics and achieve more accurate monitoring.
・All V Series 4 models come with a grille. Special tools are required for installation.

A - GROUNDLIFT (1 LIFT / 2 GROUND) - Switch to connect or disconnect pin 1 to ground
B - INPUT (1 -10dBV / 2 +4dBu) - Input sensitivity selector switch, -10dBu: consumer standard, +4dBu: professional standard
C - STANDBY (1 ON / 2 OFF) - When set to ON, the unit will go into sleep mode if no audio signal is detected for 30 minutes. It will restart when a signal is sent.
D - LOGO LED (1 ON / 2 OFF) - Turns the backlight of the KRK logo on the front on or off.
E - LOGO LED DIM (1 BRIGHT / 2 DIM) - Allows you to adjust the brightness of the KRK logo when it is on.
