Truly linear phase frequency response
iLoud Precision features an onboard DSP, digital crossover, and custom-designed Class D amplifier operating at 96 kHz, delivering linear phase response above 150 Hz for accurate imaging, crisp transients, and stunning detail.
●Ideal time alignment
iLoud Precision emphasizes the "time domain characteristics" that are often overlooked in many studio monitors. When checking the step response of a two-way or higher system, the signal from the tweeter often arrives early, splitting the peak into two, resulting in out-of-phase signals due to misalignment. With carefully designed crossovers and time alignment between the woofer and tweeter, iLoud Precision exhibits a triangular response that is close to the theoretically ideal step response. This eliminates the need for the brain to compensate for time differences, significantly reducing ear fatigue during long periods of monitoring.
Built-in ARC calibration function
iLoud Precision features built-in calibration using IK Multimedia's ARC System technology. Simply connect the included MEMS calibration microphone to iLoud Precision's ARC MIC IN, place it at your listening position, and then press and hold the CAL/PRESET button. It will adjust to optimal settings for any environment, from the mixing room to the living room.
Accurately reproduces ultra-low frequencies
By performing ARC calibration with iLoud Precision, you can accurately reproduce bass down to 30 Hz without it becoming boomy, allowing you to create mixes with deep kicks and bass on their own. The built-in high-pass filter also makes it easy to build a system that combines a subwoofer.
●MTM design that allows sound to be heard from a single point (iLoud Precision MTM)
The top-of-the-line iLoud Precision MTM uses what is known in the world of high-fidelity audio as a "virtual coaxial" MTM (mid-woofer, tweeter, mid-woofer) configuration, which allows sound to be heard from a single point at the tweeter, achieving a more precise sound image. The result is a natural, vibrant sound in which the speaker cabinet disappears, allowing you to hear the music in its natural form.

If you're using a separate subwoofer in an immersive audio setup such as Dolby Atmos, iLoud Precision features a switchable high-pass filter (Full, 35, 50, 65, or 80 Hz), eliminating the need for a separate crossover.

The iLoud Precision series comes with the Mac/Windows application X-MONITOR, which not only allows for visual confirmation and adjustment with ARC calibration, but also allows for detailed voicing adjustments using the buttons on the rear panel of the iLoud Precision. No special interface is required to use X-MONITOR; simply connect the USB port on the back of the iLoud Precision to your Mac/Windows computer and you're ready to go.
